About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented Healthcare Assistant to join our Ward 3A team. This role involves working on a rostered basis with rotating shifts, including weekends and nights. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a busy 30-bed surgical ward. We emphasize teamwork and provide a supportive environment where you can utilize and enhance your clinical skills.

About You
We are looking for candidates who ideally possess the following qualifications:
- Recent healthcare experience
- A strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to follow directions effectively
- Adaptability and flexibility in various situations
- Motivation and dedication to self-directed learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license
Preferred qualifications include completion of Healthcare Assistant training or Health Support training, or a NZQA-approved National Certificate of the Older Person (Level 3) or the National Certificate in Community Support Services (Level 3).
