About the Role
We are excited to offer a part-time position for a Lounge Caregiver at Kevin Hickman Retirement Village. This role involves working from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, within our special care unit.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.
- Follow individual care plans to provide the highest standard of care, as if it were for your own loved ones.
- Utilize our innovative technology, including our specially designed care app, myRyman.
- Collaborate closely with your colleagues to foster a supportive team environment.
Please note that while we welcome applications from overseas candidates, applicants must have New Zealand work rights due to immigration requirements.
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, you should possess:
- Experience working with dementia patients.
- A strong sense of kindness as part of your DNA.
- Excellent empathy and communication skills.
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor.
While experience in aged care is preferred, it is not essential.
