About the Role
We are currently seeking versatile casual administrators to join our team at the Christchurch Hospital Campus. This role is designed to provide temporary coverage during the recruitment of permanent positions or to fill short-notice absences. Tasks may include:
- Transcribing clinical dictation
- Providing receptionist support at the front desk
- Assisting with the booking of patient appointments
This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our casual pool and take on assignments during regular weekday business hours. As a casual administrator, you will have the chance to work across various health specialties within the Christchurch Hospital Campus, and you will receive training on our in-house systems.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced administrators with a strong ability to relate to patients and their families in a courteous and helpful manner
- Proficient in fast and accurate keyboard and data entry skills
- Preferably experienced in medical transcription
- Eager to learn new computer systems
- Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience in transcription, administration, or a customer service role is essential. Flexibility and the ability to work on short notice are also important qualities we are seeking.
