About the Role
We are hiring full-time Scaffolders for various roles across all regions of New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who take pride in their workmanship and are eager to contribute to significant infrastructure and commercial projects. The positions are full-time and permanent, with site locations determined by project demands.
Key Responsibilities
As a Scaffolder, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Constructing and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects, as well as building stands and tiered seating for public events like concerts and sports.
- Inspecting the designated area to assess scaffolding needs, calculating requirements, unloading materials, and assembling frameworks by fitting tubing and braces together. You will also attach ladders, rails, and other necessary components.
- Ensuring the safety and functionality of scaffolding equipment by regularly inspecting structures and maintaining compliance with safety standards, as well as dismantling scaffolding upon project completion.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience.
- A friendly demeanor with strong time management skills and a solid work ethic.
- A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry.
- A sound understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Waikato, we are recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand, including:
- North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
- South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We invite applicants from any of these regions and require a willingness to travel or relocate as necessary. The company will cover relocation costs.
Benefits
- Competitive pay ranging from a minimum of $26.00 to a maximum of $40.00 per hour.
- A minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.
