About the Role We are looking for an STMS who can start immediately, with the potential for long-term work. The typical working hours for this position are from 7 AM to 5 PM, with projects located in coastal and rural areas. Why Join Us? What You’ll Do In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all traffic management tasks for various works and events. Your duties will include completing required paperwork and reports, assessing site hazards, and applying appropriate control measures. You will engage with clients and lead discussions on Traffic Management Measures (TTM), effectively applying local TMP/TMD/CAR/WAP guidelines. You will also monitor traffic flow and behavior to maintain safety, as well as control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists to protect both workers and the public. What We’re Looking For We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: - Traffic Control STMS / Cat A, B, and/or C warrants - A minimum of 6 months of experience in Traffic Control - A Full Class 1 license - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test - Two work references - New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa/permit - The ability to work independently and as part of a team - A strong focus on safety and excellent communication skills If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply now or call Tradestaff Dunedin at 0508 404040 for further details.
