About the Role
In this role, you will take on a leadership position within our Online department, working two days a week. You will assist our current manager in leading a high-performing team, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development. Our Online service covers a large area of South Auckland and North Waikato, including in-store click and collect services.

Day-to-Day Tasks
In your daily responsibilities, you will ensure operational excellence within the Online shopping department. This includes managing, motivating, training, and supporting the Online team alongside the manager, while always leading by example and adhering to best practices and operational procedures.
You will effectively plan, monitor, and prioritize work from the beginning of the picking order life cycle through to the completion of orders, whether by Click & Collect or delivery. Keeping the store map and locations updated will be essential, as will collaborating with Department Managers to ensure accuracy.
You will also be responsible for effectively resolving customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to management or the FSNI Online Operations team when necessary. Maintaining inventory levels and supplies, including scanners, totes, Techni-ice, chiller bags, and uniforms, will be part of your role, along with conducting stock takes as required.
Additionally, you will ensure that items are picked, packed, processed, and invoiced accurately and efficiently, following Standard Operating Procedures and best practice guidelines. You will maintain cleanliness and organization in the Staging Area and for Online equipment, communicate feedback to the Department Manager and other relevant teams, and assist other departments with their Online responsibilities as needed.
You will contribute to continuous improvements and initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the Online shopping experience, all while maintaining our high standards for customer service, food safety, and health and safety.
Hours
This position is scheduled for Sunday through Thursday, with specific hours and pay rates to be discussed during the interview. A full New Zealand driver's license is required, as you will be expected to drive the online delivery vehicles.
