About the Role
We are currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our store in Albany. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing joy to the eyecare experience. You will support the Store Manager and Optometrist in managing the store's operations, including appointment book management and ensuring a seamless customer journey from the clinic to frame selection and dispensing.
You will take charge of running the store on two days a week during the Store Manager's scheduled days off. As we expand our presence in Australia and New Zealand with new store openings in 2025, there will be significant opportunities for career advancement. You will receive comprehensive training to enhance your skills in optical dispensing and team leadership.
Our Assistant Store Managers benefit from ongoing coaching and support from the Store Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Director, encouraging you to reach your full potential. You will have the chance to cultivate customer loyalty through exceptional service, which will naturally lead to word-of-mouth referrals. Additionally, you will be equipped with local marketing tools to connect with your community and grow our customer base.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary along with performance-based bonuses that are awarded monthly and quarterly. You will also enjoy a generous product allowance.
Requirements

You should have solid experience in optics at a supervisory or management level, along with strong leadership skills and a dedication to training and developing your team.
