Our Havelock operation is expanding, and we are currently seeking a skilled Marine Upholsterer to join our team. About the Role In this position, you will spend approximately 75% of your time focused on marine projects, which include crafting luxury boat seats, biminis, clears, carpets, and custom covers. The remaining time will involve a variety of general upholstery work, vehicle interiors, shade solutions, and tarpaulins. You will primarily work from our Havelock workshop, with the option to be based in Blenheim, just a scenic 20-minute drive away. Key Responsibilities - Precision measuring, cutting, and fabrication of marine and outdoor textile products - Delivering high-quality work independently with a sense of pride and accountability - Working with a diverse range of materials, including canvas, PVC, mesh, and vinyl - Maintaining client relationships and representing our brand positively in the local community About You We are looking for a true craftsperson who possesses a keen eye for detail and quality. You should feel confident working independently and managing projects from start to finish. Experience in marine or automotive upholstery is preferred, as is a passion for boats and the outdoors. Excellent communication skills and a genuine team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
