About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time permanent team member to work 80 hours per fortnight. The schedule for the role is as follows:
Week 1:
- Tuesday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- Thursday from 2:35 PM to 11:15 PM
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Week 2:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday from 2:35 PM to 11:15 PM
Requirements
We are looking for someone who possesses:
- A Passion for People: You should be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with individuals.
- Empathy & Understanding: A solid understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles is essential.
- Team Player: You should be professional, honest, and a reliable team player with a flexible mindset.
- Practical Skills: The ability to assist with personal care tasks, including showering and dressing.
- Driver Licence: A full New Zealand Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your responsibilities.
- Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): You should have, or be willing to work towards, a New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
