About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Water and Wastewater Technicians to join our dynamic team in Timaru. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our essential water networks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and repairing water mains, meters, and service pipes
- Servicing valves, hydrants, and irrigation systems
- Performing general civil laboring and trenching
- Operating machinery such as loaders, rollers, and trucks
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Experience in water/wastewater or civil construction
- A willingness to join our on-call roster
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Proficiency in operating machinery, including loaders, rollers, trucks, and hydro excavators
- A Full Class 1 driver’s license is required; a Class 2 license is desirable
