About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our high-performing team at Armstrong's Subaru, INEOS, and Used Cars in Christchurch. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped workshop alongside skilled professionals who take pride in their work. Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a dealership or specialist workshop
- Experience with European vehicles (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current WOF certification, or the ability to obtain it quickly
- Knowledge of EV servicing (an advantage)
- A detail-oriented attitude with a commitment to getting the job done right
- Good communication skills and computer literacy
- A full NZ driver's license or an international equivalent
- Your own professional-grade tool kit
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting complex diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
- Maintaining workshop flow and mentoring junior team members as needed
- Ensuring all work meets safety and manufacturer standards
- Keeping your work area tidy, organized, and professional
- Contributing to a high-performing, team-oriented environment
