About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Chefs to join our team of casual staff on Auckland's North Shore, specifically in areas such as Albany, Glenfield, Red Beach, and the Hibiscus Coast. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work around other commitments and choose when and where you want to work. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the dining services team in busy kitchens within rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating all aspects of kitchen food service delivery, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards for quality, budget, and hygiene. You will lead and inspire the kitchen team, delivering meals with creativity and passion, while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - A food industry (Chef) qualification - A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a busy commercial kitchen or café - A Food Safety Certificate - Excellent food hygiene skills and a strong focus on personal hygiene - Outstanding customer service, time management, communication, and leadership skills - The ability to manage a team in a fast-paced food preparation environment - Reliable transportation to travel to our clients' facilities - A strong sense of reliability, motivation, and passion for your work A Bit About Working for Us At Medcall, we prioritize flexibility and convenience for our staff.
