About the Role
We are currently seeking candidates for a long-term civil construction project in Christchurch, which is set to commence in February. This significant project offers consistent work with stable crews and the potential for long-term employment for the right individuals.
We are looking to fill a variety of positions, including experienced operators, carpenters, formworkers, lead hands, and drainage operators. These roles are ideal for individuals with hands-on civil and construction experience who can work effectively as part of a dedicated site crew on a major project.
Requirements
- Previous civil or construction site experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site crew
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
- Relevant tickets or licenses are advantageous (depending on the role)
- A reliable, punctual, and committed work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting civil construction and drainage works across the site
- Assisting with formwork, structural, and in-ground works
- Operating machinery where properly ticketed and experienced
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Following site plans, levels, and supervisor instructions
- Working safely around plant, trucks, and ground crews
- Maintaining strong health and safety standards at all times
- Completing any other tasks required on site
