About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our client’s team at Auckland Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position working on high-profile infrastructure projects with a respected company.
The role will begin on January 12, 2026, and offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $35, paid weekly. You will be part of a collaborative team culture in a supportive environment, contributing to major infrastructure developments in Auckland.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Operating excavators for site works and earthmoving
- Assisting with trenching, bulk earthworks, and drainage support
- Carrying out daily checks to ensure safe operation of machinery
- Participating in general site tasks as needed
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Proven experience operating excavators, with essential GPS experience
- Versatility and a willingness to assist with various site tasks
- A strong focus on safety and reliability
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- A clean criminal record
- Own transport and a solid work ethic
