About the Role
We are looking for reliable and motivated Scaffolders for various roles. The ideal candidates will be flexible and willing to travel across the country to assist with our diverse range of projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include dismantling temporary metal scaffolding to create work platforms and structures on building and industrial sites. Key duties will encompass:
- Planning and arranging scaffolding to meet job requirements.
- Selecting and preparing necessary materials for each project.
- Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at the job site.
- Erecting scaffold structures by lifting, positioning, and bolting sections together.
- Establishing platforms and implementing safety measures.
- Inspecting and repairing scaffolding to ensure stability and safety.
- Installing guard rails and safety netting.
- Keeping the workspace, equipment, and tools clean.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Pay Conditions
The pay range for this position is between $29.66 and $34.00 per hour, depending on experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or a relevant qualification.
- A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic.
- Flexibility to work in various locations across the country.
- A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry.
- A strong dedication to health and safety practices on-site.
- Reliability and a hardworking nature.
Please note that this role may require work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
