ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Team Leader for our Contact Centre who will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of high-performing telefundraisers. In this role, you will focus on the successful execution of our Telefundraising program, ensuring that we meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to calling and fundraising activities. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a motivated team to conduct calls efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with Greenpeace's mission and values. You will collaborate closely with two fellow Team Leaders, a Performance Coach, and the Telefundraising Manager to support daily operations, provide effective coaching and training, and maintain high performance standards within the team. This position requires a driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-oriented contact centre environment and can effectively support and develop team members to consistently achieve their targets. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and inspiring your team to consistently meet daily and weekly targets - Conducting regular one-on-one meetings to review performance and provide support - Monitoring calls and performance data to identify areas for improvement - Offering regular coaching and training to enhance skills and build confidence - Facilitating team meetings to share updates, celebrate successes, and reinforce best practices - Managing team performance through clear goal setting, feedback, and development plans - Keeping up with administrative tasks related to team management ABOUT YOU You have demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams within a contact centre setting, whether in fundraising, customer service, or sales. Your target-driven mindset, motivation, and passion for helping individuals reach their potential through coaching are key strengths. You set a positive example for your team, bringing energy and dedication to your work. Your leadership style fosters a culture of performance, positivity, and professionalism. You will guide your team in addressing urgent environmental issues such as climate action, ocean protection, and reducing single-use plastics. Together, you will achieve goals and drive change, one conversation at a time. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - A minimum of one year of contact centre leadership experience, managing and coaching teams of five or more in a dynamic environment - At least two years of frontline contact centre experience, consistently meeting KPIs and thriving under pressure - Strong coaching skills, focusing on performance improvement through feedback and development - Experience in training, conducting sessions to enhance skills and results - Effective performance management capabilities, addressing underperformance with clear expectations and improvement strategies - Recruitment experience is a plus, particularly in interviewing or onboarding - Quick adaptability to new systems and tools - A passion for protecting the environment and contributing to a sustainable future BENEFITS - Zero excess health insurance plan (eligibility criteria apply for visa holders) - Flexible working hours and hybrid work arrangements - Sustainable commuting allowance - Four wellbeing days and birthday leave - Long service leave - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for professional and personal support - Pet-friendly office environment - Enhanced parental leave and contributions to childcare costs for returning parents - Comprehensive learning and development program When you join Greenpeace Aotearoa, you become part of a global network committed to protecting the environment for future generations. Our salaries are competitive within the not-for-profit sector, with a range of $65,000 - $75,000 for this full-time permanent position based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
