About the Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive growth within our Marketplace Pro-seller portfolio, which encompasses new and refurbished goods. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our revenue growth through our professional seller network. You will support and guide a high-performing sales and supply team while building strong partnerships that open up new possibilities. Collaboration across various teams will be key, allowing you to make a meaningful impact.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Engage in strategic planning by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and leading important go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with our Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Optimize and innovate our inventory strategy, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our offerings in key categories.
- Work towards and exceed sales targets through customer acquisition, strategic growth, and excellent account management.
- Provide supportive leadership and coaching to your sales team, fostering a motivated environment that consistently achieves goals.
- Ensure the smooth operation of our sales support function, meeting commitments to our stores and sellers accurately.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pro-seller issues, addressing challenges thoughtfully and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with our Support Experience and Policy teams to ensure alignment and compliance with our pro-seller service offerings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Approximately 8+ years of experience in sales and business development management, preferably within eCommerce, retail, or category management.
- A natural ability to coach and develop team members, helping them realize their full potential.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships and deliver engaging presentations, along with advanced negotiation abilities.
- Comfort with data analysis, market research interpretation, and tracking consumer trends to inform forecasts and strategic decisions.
- Significant hands-on experience in leading successful go-to-market activities.
- Solid financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial performance.
