About the Role
We are currently seeking junior Joiners who are organized, trustworthy, and take pride in their quality of workmanship. This role will involve working across multiple regions, so a flexible approach to work locations is preferred. We value motivated individuals who are driven to achieve results and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Fabricating and installing custom joinery and cabinetry
- Engaging in general framing, fix-outs, door hanging, skirting, and architraves
- Measuring and cutting materials with precision
- Working as part of a team to achieve project goals
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
- Collaborating with other trades as necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- An understanding of tools, machinery, and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- A manual driver’s license and own transport (preferred)
- The ability to pass a Criminal Check and Drug Test
Location
This role primarily requires travel across Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago.
Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $28 - $35, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Our flexible work arrangements foster a supportive team environment, and there are ample opportunities for career growth as our business expands.
