    About the Company Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, is responsible for the day-to-day management of our health system across the country, with services delivered at local, district, regional, and national levels. About the Role We are currently seeking Psychiatrists for both full-time and part-time positions to join our East Community team in the vibrant city of Christchurch. No matter your interests, you are sure to find your place in our city. In this role, you will be a key member of our Adult General Service within our integrated system. Your responsibilities will involve engaging in crisis management, inpatient care, and community assessments, providing a variety of experiences in your practice. Experience in Adult Mental Health, which may include inpatient, outpatient, alcohol and drug services, and rehabilitation, is essential. You will collaborate with forward-thinking, multidisciplinary teams where professionalism and cooperation are paramount. No two days will be alike in this dynamic environment. You will utilize your specialized knowledge and clinical expertise to deliver innovative acute and long-term care tailored to individual needs. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a leadership role within our established multidisciplinary teams and will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our client-centered frameworks. To be considered for this position, you must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
