About the Role We are currently seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our Environmental Services Department at the Christchurch Health Campus. This role involves covering shifts during the following hours: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please indicate your availability for these shifts in your cover letter. The starting pay for this position is $27.80 per hour, with additional penal rates offered for weekend and night shifts, in accordance with the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our facilities and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our patients (turoro) and their families (whanau). Your responsibilities will include: - Completing all cleaning tasks to meet international healthcare standards - Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are accomplished within set timeframes - Safely operating and maintaining equipment around patients and their families - Handling cleaning solutions in line with established safety protocols We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and flexible individual who is passionate about cleanliness and dedicated to creating a hygienic and safe space for our hospital community.
