About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Window Treatments Specialist to join our Drape It Team. This part-time position has the potential to transition to full-time based on business growth, if desired. The role is based at our location on 309 Cashel St, Central City, Christchurch. Key Responsibilities: In this position, you will consult with clients to understand their specific needs and recommend tailored window treatment solutions. You will drive sales through effective client engagement, follow-ups, and relationship building. Additionally, you will leverage your business development skills to identify new opportunities and expand our client base. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the wider Design and Retail Team to ensure seamless project delivery from consultation to installation. Staying informed about industry trends, fabrics, and window treatment technologies will be essential for providing expert advice to our clients. Requirements: We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a window treatments specialist, particularly with expertise in drapes, blinds, shades, shutters, and similar products. Strong sales and business development skills are essential, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for building lasting client relationships. Candidates should be capable of working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of interior design trends and fabrics is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.
