About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our supportive team as a Barista. This full-time position is based at our Pioneers Café located at our Russley Road office in Christchurch. The hours for this role are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. As a Barista, you will be responsible for: - Making high-quality coffee, so previous experience in coffee preparation is essential. - Crafting a variety of delicious beverages while ensuring cleanliness and organization within the café. - Providing excellent food and beverage service to our team members, customers, and visitors. - Promoting a welcoming and caring atmosphere in the café. - Collaborating closely with and supporting your colleagues. About You To excel in our supportive and caring environment, we are looking for individuals who possess: - Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café setting. - Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask effectively between coffee making, serving customers, and food service. - A friendly and approachable demeanor, coupled with a strong sense of empathy. - A reliable, professional manner with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
