About the Role We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity to join our supportive team as a Barista. This position requires availability on Sundays and Mondays from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service in our café for residents, their relatives, and visitors. Your experience in coffee making is essential, as you will craft delicious beverages while promoting a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness and organization in the café and work closely with your colleagues to support each other. About You To thrive in our caring and supportive environment, you will possess: - Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café setting - Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask effectively while making coffee and serving customers - Strong empathy and a friendly, approachable demeanor - A reliable and professional attitude, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Please note that while we welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position.
