About the Role
We are excited to offer opportunities for non-training Orthopaedic Registrars who are eager to advance their careers in orthopaedic surgery. MidCentral District provides an excellent foundation for Orthopaedic Registrars looking to enhance their skills. We emphasize the training and development of surgical skills, and take pride in our comprehensive approach.
Our team engages in a variety of elective surgeries, alongside a substantial volume of trauma cases, ensuring a rich learning experience.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration. You can verify your eligibility by visiting the Medical Council's website.
- Completion of PGY2 or an equivalent program.
- Completion of the GSSE exam is advantageous, though not a mandatory requirement.
