About the Role
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for General Surgical Registrars as part of the RMO Annual Recruitment Cycle, with a start date of February 2, 2026. This role provides a structured working environment, supported by SET trainees and consultants, to enhance your diagnostic and surgical skills while gaining comprehensive experience in all aspects of surgical care.
At MidCentral District, you will find an excellent foundation for professional growth. As a provider of tertiary cancer services, we perform a variety of complex surgeries, offering superb learning opportunities, hands-on operating time, and outpatient clinics.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration. You can verify your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website. Additionally, candidates should have completed PGY2 or equivalent training.
