About the Role
We invite you to join our structured teams, where you will receive support from SET trainees and consultants as you enhance your diagnostic and surgical skills. This role will allow you to gain comprehensive experience in all aspects of surgical care.
MidCentral District offers an excellent foundation for General Surgical Registrars seeking to develop their expertise. As a provider of tertiary cancer services, we perform a wide range of complex surgeries, providing superb learning opportunities along with hands-on operating time and outpatient clinic exposure.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can verify your eligibility by visiting the Council's website.
- Completion of PGY2 or an equivalent program.
