About the Role
In this role, you will engage in a variety of commercial carpentry tasks, primarily concentrating on formwork and framing at the onset. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing carpentry work on commercial builds.
- Ensuring full compliance with New Zealand building codes and safety protocols.
- Working autonomously or as part of a team to meet project timelines.
- Effectively problem-solving on-site and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Collaborating with other trades and team members on new construction projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should ideally possess:
- A Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry.
- Commercial carpentry experience with a proven track record of working on large-scale projects.
- Your own reliable carpentry tools and dependable transport.
- The ability to provide two working references.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team environment.
- The capability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
