About the Role We are currently seeking experienced carpenters with a background in framing, pre-nail framing, and finishing work to join our team in Christchurch and Canterbury. Our client has several long-term projects, both large and small scale, and is looking for additional staff to assist in bringing these projects to completion. The available roles are full-time and ongoing, with the potential for long-term opportunities with our client. Candidates should have previous experience in light commercial projects, fit-outs, and residential work. Compensation for these positions ranges from $30 to $34 per hour, or contractor rates may be available depending on experience. Role Responsibilities As a carpenter, your responsibilities may include: - Finishing and detailed finishing work - Timber framing and pre-nail framing - Gib installation - Aluminum partitioning - Steel stud partitioning - Installation of doors and windows Benefits and Culture Joining our team means becoming part of an energetic and collaborative work culture.
