About the Role We are currently seeking skilled Hammerhands and Apprentices to join our team in Queenstown, where you will be involved in the construction of ultra high-end architectural homes. These projects are truly remarkable, featuring custom builds valued between $20 million and $40 million, designed by some of the industry's leading architects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a professional and experienced crew in a stunning location, just minutes away from breathtaking mountains and lakes. We provide free shared, furnished accommodation, ensuring that you can focus on your work and enjoy the lifestyle that Queenstown has to offer. You can expect to engage in long-term project work that spans over two years, providing you with stability and growth in your career. Wages for this position range from $28.00 to $35.00 per hour. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in the building trade, with a preference for those who have background in high-end residential or architectural construction. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential. We are looking for individuals who are prepared for a long-term commitment of at least two years. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, while being familiar with basic carpentry tools and site operations. Candidates should possess their own basic tools, be physically fit and reliable, and demonstrate a strong work ethic along with a desire to learn. Additionally, you must be willing to relocate to Queenstown for the long term and hold a valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification, for which we can provide assistance. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is also required. Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
