About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to join our Ruamahunga Roads maintenance team. In this position, you will be responsible for a range of traffic management tasks across all Fulton Hogan departments in the region, as well as for external clients and local events. Your primary focus will be to ensure that traffic management standards are maintained to guarantee safety on our sites.
In this role, you will:
- Communicate effectively with work site foremen to facilitate smooth operations.
- Complete all required training for temporary traffic management.
- Identify and mitigate hazards in accordance with our hazard identification processes.
- Read, understand, and implement traffic management plans.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Level 1 STMS qualification.
- A full Class 1 driver’s license is essential.
- Experience in directing and leading teams.
- Proficiency in using IT devices, including iPads and Tough Books.
- Strong communication skills.
