About the Role We are currently seeking skilled Driver/Operators to join the civil construction industry in Dunedin for the busy summer season. This is an exciting opportunity to work across top-tier companies and high-profile sites. In this role, you will operate a variety of machinery on key infrastructure projects, with the potential for ongoing work. Location: Dunedin or Oamaru Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly) Your role will involve: - Operating a variety of civil machinery, including excavators, rollers, dump trucks, and graders. - Carrying out trenching, bulk earthworks, base preparation, and final trim work. - Performing vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical issues to the site supervisor. - Providing support with manual labor and general site work as required. - Completing basic vehicle upkeep, such as cleaning and refueling. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - A full Class 2, 4, or 5 NZ Driver Licence. - WTR endorsements. - Proven experience in the civil construction industry. - Strong operating skills across a range of heavy machinery. - A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
