About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Class 4 Water Cart Driver to join our team for ongoing work on major civil and earthworks projects in Christchurch. This role is essential for maintaining site safety and productivity by supporting dust suppression and bulk earthworks operations. As a Class 4 Water Cart Driver, you will collaborate closely with site supervisors, machine operators, and ground crews to ensure that projects run smoothly and safely. What You Will Be Doing In this position, your key responsibilities will include: - Operating a Class 4 water cart for effective dust suppression. - Adhering to site-specific traffic management and safety plans. - Maintaining clear communication with site supervisors and crew members. - Conducting daily vehicle checks and performing basic maintenance. - Assisting with general site operations as needed. Requirements To be successful in this role, we require the following: - A full Class 4 driver license. - Previous experience operating a water cart or working on civil sites is preferred. - A strong understanding of site safety protocols and traffic management. - A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude. - A high level of health and safety awareness. - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
