About the Role We are currently seeking a talented and versatile Baker to join our bakery team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about their craft and eager to advance their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Baker, you will be responsible for the preparation of quality bakery goods for retail sale, delivering high levels of customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Prepare a variety of quality bakery products for retail sale - Provide outstanding customer service to our valued customers - Adhere to food safety and health and safety standards Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess the following attributes: - A trade qualification or proven experience as a baker - A strong commitment to customer service - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit - Strong attention to detail - A commitment to maintaining high standards of work and compliance with our food safety and health and safety programs Hours This is a permanent position offering 32 hours per week, working from Friday to Monday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We anticipate that this position will transition to a full-time role of 40 hours per week in October.
