About the Role We are seeking a qualified Butcher to become an integral part of our Butchery Department. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys the challenges of supermarket butcher retailing and thrives in a busy work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including slicing, deboning, and cutting meat, as well as maintaining the meat case and cabinets. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, tray up meat, and ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety standards. Requirements To be successful in this position, applicants should possess the following qualifications: - Qualified or experienced butcher - Previous supermarket experience is preferred - Strong organizational skills - Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role - Excellent communication abilities - Reliability and a strong work ethic This is a part-time position, specifically for Fridays and Saturdays.
