We are committed to creating a positive work environment where teamwork and communication are valued. About the Role We are seeking a qualified baker to join our Bakery team. The ideal candidate will possess a New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) in Bakery, along with experience in a supermarket setting. This part-time position offers 16 hours of work each week, specifically on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:30 AM to 10:00 AM. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training, but we expect a strong commitment and a solid work ethic. Please note that some heavy lifting will be required. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate the following key attributes: - A qualification as a baker - Excellent customer service skills - Reliability and honesty - The ability to thrive in a busy work environment Your responsibilities will include: - Producing doughs and preparing various products - Baking bread, including traying up and baking off - Adhering to the high standards set by Riccarton Pak'nSave - Complying with all food safety and health and safety regulations This role is ideal for someone who can work effectively both in a team setting and independently when necessary.
