About the Role We are currently seeking a project manager with a solid track record in managing projects across multiple disciplines. This role involves overseeing the planning, scoping, procurement, construction, completion, and handover of parks capital construction projects and initiatives. In this position, you will: - Plan, manage, and deliver parks capital construction projects and initiatives. - Support the implementation of the Asset Management Plan, ensuring that we consider levels of service and the provision of leisure assets within the Council's reserves and open space network. - Ensure that all projects align with the Council’s annual and long-term plans, methodologies, policies, and practices. About You We are looking for someone who is a clear thinker and excels at building strong relationships with stakeholders. Your understanding of customer service will be key, as we prioritize the needs of our community. We value innovative thinkers who are eager to contribute to our city’s growth and enhance our operational processes. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate: - Experience in leading projects following a recognized project management methodology. - Experience working in parks and open spaces or on small construction projects. - Proficiency in managing project budgets and adhering to established procurement processes.
