About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our operations team in Wellington, focusing on high-profile infrastructure and civil construction projects. In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. Your focus will be on ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining cost efficiency, upholding quality workmanship, and fostering a strong safety culture. This position is crucial as it requires strong project management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards. Key Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing project methodologies, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with your team. - Overseeing contract compliance, managing variations and claims, and providing monthly financial reports. - Leading the onsite construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. - Promoting and achieving Zero Harm goals by leading by example. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - Experience in Project and/or Contract Management within the Civil Engineering sector. - Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. - Proven experience managing civil construction projects. - Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, plant, and budgets. - A track record of fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental excellence. - Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
