About the Company At Team Global Express NZ, we specialize in delivering freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions across New Zealand. Our operations span from Kaitaia to Invercargill, connecting people and communities while driving eCommerce. We are currently looking for a dedicated Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Timaru branch. About the Role In this position, you will play an essential role in the timely and safe handling of freight, helping us achieve our delivery goals. Your primary route will be between Timaru, Ashburton, and Christchurch. To succeed in this role, it is crucial that you hold a Class 5 license, along with Dangerous Goods and Forklift endorsements. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will include: - Safely loading and unloading freight, either manually or with a forklift when necessary. - Ensuring that all freight is handled without damage. - Scanning all freight; if you touch it, you scan it. - Delivering and picking up freight on time and in full. - Actively participating in all safety processes and procedures. - Operating your vehicle in a safe and legal manner at all times. - Taking pride in your vehicle by keeping it clean and tidy, both inside and out. What Will You Bring? We are looking for candidates who possess: - A clean Full NZ Class 5 License (mandatory). - Dangerous Goods Endorsement (mandatory). - A Forklift License with an OSH certificate (mandatory). - A customer-focused attitude. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Experience driving on New Zealand roads.
