About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our high-performing team at our Bulk Store located in Washdyke, Timaru. In this role, you will operate a top-quality fleet while adhering to a rotating 3/3/3 roster. Your responsibilities will include loading your truck at our Washdyke yard and delivering goods to a local dairy factory. A truck-sharing arrangement may be part of your duties, so it is important to demonstrate good habits around vehicle care, ensuring that your truck is kept clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. Flexibility to meet business and seasonal demands is essential, along with a commitment to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation, reflecting the high standards expected by our valued customers and suppliers. Work Pattern This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotating 3/3/3 roster, which consists of: - 3 days on - 3 nights on - 3 days off Average shifts will range from 10 to 12 hours. What You Bring to the Table To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience - W, T, R endorsements - Loader experience (preferred, but not essential) - Confidence in navigating narrow rural roads and gravel terrain - Experience with both day and night shifts, showcasing your flexibility and reliability - An aptitude for learning new technology and adapting to new systems - A passion for teamwork and customer service; we would love to hear about your favorite experiences in these areas Our Culture At Hilton Haulage, our values are integral to our operations.
