About the Role
We invite you to explore a rewarding opportunity within the Auckland Metropolitan Region, where you will be part of a dynamic and multicultural healthcare environment. In this permanent, full-time position, you will have access to world-class training and supervision from renowned Consultants who handle some of the most complex medical cases in New Zealand.
You will benefit from the chance to rotate through nine surgical specialties, including Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, ORL/ENT, Orthopaedics, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery. With a diverse patient population at your fingertips, you will enhance your interpersonal, diagnostic, and surgical skills, rapidly gaining experience in all aspects of surgical care.
About the Team
You will be part of a structured team that spans multiple hospitals, all within a 30km radius. This setup allows you to collaborate with SET trainees, Fellows, and Consultants who are involved in the RACS SET Training program. These professionals will provide you with valuable mentorship, feedback, and insights to support your career growth.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of six months of experience in surgical runs and be eligible for general scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
