About the Role We are seeking four exceptional Duty Managers to join our team at the Strata Lounge in Auckland Airport. This is a permanent, full-time position that will require working on a roster across seven days a week. In this role, you will partner with Strata Lounge to create a memorable lounge experience for travelers, serving as a haven for relaxation amidst the stresses of travel. Your responsibilities will include supervising and actively participating in a team that aims to "surprise and delight" our valued clientele while providing warm and professional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining the operational upkeep of the Strata Lounge, ensuring that all food service, beverage service, and general customer service tasks are performed in accordance with health, safety, and food safety regulations. Adherence to contractual requirements for the unit is essential, as is compliance with health, safety, and security procedures. Requirements We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude in their supervision of lounge operations. Effective communication skills are essential, along with the ability to advocate for both Strata and Compass Group. A commitment to providing a safe working environment for yourself and other employees is crucial. Preferred qualifications include holding a General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service) and a NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168).
