About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and purpose-driven Project Manager to join our Mangere Refugee Health Service. Our dedicated team provides compassionate, high-quality care to one of the most diverse and resilient communities in Aotearoa. In this position, you will work closely with the Practice (Operations) Manager and Nurse Lead to design and implement quality improvement initiatives that significantly impact patient outcomes. Your leadership will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clinical care is efficient, responsive, and centered on the needs of our patients. This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday, with no on-call or out-of-hours work required. Additionally, free on-site parking is available.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and planning of intake projects to ensure high-quality and timely outcomes.
- Coordinating resources, staff, and interpreters to prioritize and support patients with complex needs.
- Monitoring project performance and driving improvements as necessary.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for service enhancement and supporting the implementation of new systems.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in health, project management, or a related discipline.
- Over five years of experience in the health sector in a relevant role.
- A strong understanding of primary and public health services.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
