About the Company
We are currently partnering with a client in Auckland who is looking to enhance their team with a skilled Draughting/Detailing professional. This is a temporary position, but there is potential for it to become a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing your own work schedules in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. You will maintain and share your knowledge of relevant draughting procedures with colleagues, ensuring effective communication with customers and suppliers to foster positive and lawful relationships.
You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that draughting activities align with the organization's overall operations. Your personal judgment and initiative will be essential in developing constructive solutions to challenges in detailing activities. You will manage draughting and detailing tasks that are influenced by or reliant upon factory activities.
Additionally, you will be expected to maintain proficiency in all relevant Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems used in draughting and detailing. Timely and accurate preparation and submission of related administrative documentation, including safety documentation, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will investigate and implement effective draughting and detailing methods, guided by the Head Detailer, to meet the needs of the organization, suppliers, and customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a qualification such as a Diploma in Architectural Draughting or a related degree, along with strong drafting experience.
