About the Role We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Services in Tauranga. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team focused on helping our clients live as independently as possible while creating a safe environment that fosters confidence, friendship, and community interaction. The position requires flexibility, as you will be working a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. This adaptability is essential for effectively supporting your team and our clients. What Does the Role Involve? As a Team Leader, you will facilitate the independence of individuals with disabilities while guiding and inspiring your team. Your responsibilities may include: - Engaging clients in meaningful activities at home and in the community that promote independence and involve their families. - Managing household tasks such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal care. - Collaborating with your team to implement personal support plans consistently, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. - Providing a warm and nurturing environment that encourages feedback and supports each individual's personal goals.
