About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Quarry Machine Operator to join our team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on position that involves operating mobile plant machinery, engaging in production planning, and performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience in operating mobile plant machinery.
- Previous work experience in a quarry environment.
- A minimum of a class 2 clean driver’s license with WTR endorsements.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including the capacity to work long hours, early starts, and some Saturdays during our busy season.
- A commitment to leading safe working practices is essential.
