About the Role We are seeking a General Manager of Business Development to join our executive team in Auckland. This full-time, permanent role is vital for driving strategic growth across our subsidiaries. You will play a central role in shaping Horizon Energy's market presence through decisive action and innovative strategies. As the General Manager of Business Development, you will lead initiatives to identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and develop solutions that align with our vision. Your responsibilities will include refining marketing strategies, mentoring team members, managing performance systems, and representing Horizon Energy at industry events. Key Responsibilities Include - Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to drive growth and expand market reach. - Leading innovative sales and marketing initiatives to achieve ambitious targets and enhance customer engagement. - Managing a robust performance reporting system to ensure alignment of short-term activities with long-term goals. - Building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and identifying new opportunities. - Representing Horizon Energy at industry events, advocating for the Group's vision and influencing the sector.
