Our client network spans across South Auckland, particularly in the logistics and warehousing sectors. As our clients expand, we are seeking to support them by providing additional temporary staff for their warehouses and distribution centers.
About the Role
We are looking for individuals who have experience in a logistics or warehouse environment. The roles will involve tasks such as picking, lifting, packing, and general laboring. These positions are physically demanding, and applicants should be prepared to lift weights ranging from 10 kilograms to 25 kilograms repetitively.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading containers
- Picking orders using RF scanning technology
- Performing general labor tasks as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 20 to 25 kilograms repeatedly
- Health and safety conscious
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and a Ministry of Justice check
- Ability to provide one satisfactory reference
- Must have New Zealand residency, citizenship, or a valid New Zealand work permit
