About the Role We are currently seeking honest, reliable, and hardworking Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering a high level of care to our clients. The position offers flexibility, with part-time hours ranging from 15 to 35 hours per week based on mutually agreeable arrangements. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to make a difference in our clients' lives. Responsibilities As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in maintaining their independence within their homes. Your tasks may include, but are not limited to: - Household Management: Performing household chores and maintenance - Personal Care: Assisting with toileting, showering, and other personal hygiene needs - Community Integration: Helping clients engage with their community - Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals - Shopping: Assisting with grocery and other shopping needs Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Reliable transport and a minimum restricted driver’s license - New Zealand residency or a valid work visa - A clear police clearance check - Ability to follow instructions effectively - Independent and proactive thinking skills - Relevant experience and qualifications are highly regarded Benefits We offer ongoing training and career development to support your professional growth.
