We are a leading manufacturer of insulated panels and fire-rated panel systems, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our clients. Our commitment to excellence drives our operations, and we are currently looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator/Labourer to join our factory team located in Hornby.
About the Role
This position is for a night shift, operating from Monday to Friday, with hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.00, along with additional overtime rates, shift allowances, and meal allowances.
As a Forklift Operator/Labourer, you will play a crucial role in our operations. We are seeking candidates who possess a current OSH certificate and have at least one year of relevant experience. It is important that you have reliable transportation to reach our facility.
In this role, you will be expected to follow instructions carefully, work safely as part of a team, and maintain a good level of fitness, as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods will be required.
Daily duties will include:
- Operating a forklift
- Machine operation
- General labouring tasks, including cleaning duties as necessary
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current OSH certificate
- At least one year of forklift operating experience
- Reliable transport
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and remain on your feet for long periods
