About the Role
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team, with availability for either day or night shifts.
The shifts available are as follows:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Training will consist of a 42-hour work week from Monday to Friday, and the shift pattern may include every second weekend once training is complete.
Key Duties
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Operating machinery
- Conducting quality control
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Performing cleaning and general factory duties
- Engaging in physically demanding work, which includes lifting 15 kg hot moulds from machines
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and uphold quality standards
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- A mechanically minded individual with strong practical skills
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to repeatedly lift 15 kg
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team
- Previous machine operating experience within a factory or manufacturing setting is preferred
